"Bulgarian Woman 2" is a continuation of the "Bulgarian Women" series, in which I recreate the beauty and spirituality of the Bulgarian woman through symbolic and emotional images. In this painting, I sought a softer and gentler emanation – an image that conveys calmness, kindness, and inner light.

The blue eyes are the main focus of the composition. For me, they symbolize purity, sincerity, and depth of soul. The gentle smile and calm gaze create a sense of warmth and humanity. The white veil is again present as a symbol of tradition, femininity, and spiritual purity, while the pink flowers add tenderness and a connection to nature and life.

The soft pastel tones throughout the painting create a sense of tranquility and harmony. Here, too, I am not seeking a realistic portrait, but rather a feeling of the Bulgarian woman as a symbol of beauty, kindness, and strength, preserved through time.

"Bulgarian Woman 2" carries a more intimate and delicate mood.
