My Desert

This painting is my inner search for balance and center. In it, the circle is the leading image – for me it symbolizes wholeness, cyclicality and thoughts that constantly revolve inward, towards the core. The spiral in the center is my inner focus – the place where everything comes together, but also where I sometimes get lost.

The geometric shapes and sharp angles around the circle show the tension between stability and decay. They are decisions, choices and events that do not always line up harmoniously. The colors – earthy, warm, brown and ochre – are my connection to the earth, to reality and to something primal and true.

This work is quiet but heavy. It does not scream, but rather stands and watches. For me, it is an image of a state – a moment in which I seek meaning, order and peace amidst the inner geometry of my thoughts.
