My eyes
This painting is an expressive composition of intertwined faces and gazes, in which the human presence is multiple, fragmented, and highly emotional. I worked with bright, saturated colors – yellow, red, blue, turquoise, pink, and earth tones – that clash and complement each other, creating dynamics and tension throughout the canvas.
The faces overlap and flow into each other, without a clear beginning or end. The eyes are the main focus – numerous, awake, observing. They bring a sense of an inner world, of different perspectives and emotions that exist simultaneously. The forms are intentionally deformed and divided, which emphasizes the themes of identity, plurality and internal dialogue.
The painting has a strong energetic presence – it is loud, lively and provocative. It does not tell one specific story, but rather gathers many voices, moods and states in a common space. This is a work that invites the viewer to get lost in the details and find their own reflection in the gazes.
