My Wind
This painting is an abstract landscape of emotion rather than place. I worked with warm, saturated tones—burnt orange, rust, coral, and soft blush—layered with muted greens and dusky purples to create a sense of depth and movement. The brushstrokes flow horizontally and upward, guiding the eye through the composition like a winding path or a rising current.
There’s a feeling of heat and stillness, balanced by softer, translucent areas that feel almost atmospheric. Darker, organic marks appear throughout the surface, grounding the piece and adding contrast against the luminous background. The texture of the paint is visible, giving the work a tactile, expressive quality that changes subtly with the light.
This piece is about transition and inner terrain—suggestive rather than literal—inviting the viewer to project their own landscape, memory, or emotion into it. It’s bold yet contemplative, energetic yet calm, and designed to bring warmth and presence into a space.
